Hi everyone,

Wow.. what a great crowd we had at Peabody's for this past Sunday's Jet's Playoff game. It was awesome having all those Jets fans in one place cheering for Gang Green. We are really becoming a true fan club as well as an extended family. I got some great pictures from last week that are now available on the site for everyone to see. I also posted the latest group shot (I counted 37 people in the picture and not everyone was in it either).

Sure the Jet's lost the game to the hated Patriots but all in all I think everyone was happy to have gotten as far as we did and to walk away from the season with a 10-6 regular season record and a playoff game to boot. Don't know about you but at the beginning of the year I said I would have been happy with just and 8-8 season. With a few new additions to the team I know the Jets will be even stronger next year. Mangenius has certainly given us something to look forward too and I for one can not wait for next season.

I'll try to send out emails to the fan club in the off season whenever I see some interesting bit of news about the Jets. Please don't hesitate to email me at Webmaster@Jets-Fan.com with some news that you think the club might be interested in.

Perhaps we can also try to arrange some off season get togethers as well. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Another idea I think we're going to work on is having a real, honest to goodness tailgate party outside of Peabody's in the parking lot for the first regular season game of the 2007 season. I'm sure we'll have to do a lot of planning with the town for that to happen considering we'll be BBQ'ing and (probably) drinking. Hopefully Peabody's will work with us on this idea.

Anyway, thanks again to everyone who has supported the fan club over the last few years. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

If anyone is interested, many of us we will be at Peabody's this Sunday to watch the second round of playoff games. Hope to see you there.
